Beat the performance plateau with Specialized's dangerously fast Shiv. Its massively oversize 10r carbon frame, rear wheel cut out, and integrated aero stem leave the wind little to work with. The integrated Fuelselage, which sits inside the down tube, keeps you hydrated without ever leaving Specialized's aero bars, which are easy to adjust so you can find your optimal position for efficiency and comfort. Specialized's Shiv Aero brakes provide control before corners and on descents, the calipers' aero profile slices through the wind, and the rear caliper is even tucked under the chainstays for additional stealth. On top of all that, the Shimano/FSA drivetrain, TT-specific Sitero saddle, Axis 2.0 wheels, and an oversize bottom bracket ratchet the speed up another notch.
This frame utilizes Specialized’s advanced FACT IS (Integrated Structure) construction method. By separating the frame into four main parts — the front triangle, seat tube/bottom bracket, chainstays and seatstays — Specialized is able to optimize each carbon piece for its specific purpose and create a structure that’s incredibly light, impeccably stiff and impressively strong.
